I am living in Portland OR. I have one daughter, Mai Lynn, who is a student of Foreign Affairs at Georgetown University. My degrees are BSN, MPH and MN/Family Nurse Practitioner.

I grew up in the Bay Area in California and attended San Diego State University, University of California Medical Center in San Francisco and Oregon  Health Sciences University in Portland.

My career has followed an interesting and eventful path. It took me to Southeast Asia where I worked with the United Nations in the management of refugee programs and community development. I was in Thailand for seven years living in Songkhla, Surin and Bangkok. I was recruited by the United Nations Development Program and moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 1991 where I lived for two years. I came home to live a more settled life for myself and Mai Lynn.  During my initial years living in Portland, I  completed a Masters degree in Nursing and was certified as a Nurse Practitioner. Having lived in Portland for 11 years and successfully launching a beautiful daughter into the world, I am currently seeking opportunities to work internationally. In addition to my experience as a program developer and manager, I now am equipped to provide direct patient care and to teach.
